Village Kampor is situated on northern part of island Rab, on opposite side from where ferryboat comes to Rab. Due to this fact, Kamport has kept its relaxed atmosphere of small Mediterranean village, small, quiet and not overcrouded.
Central beach Mel, where our apartments are located, is idea for families with children. This is send beach, where sea is hop, clean and very shallow. For those who do not like send, there is area called Suha Punta, with several kilometers of walking tracks and with stone beach all around. Also, if you have boat, Kampor and Suha Punta have several extraordinary beautiful bays approachable only from sea.
Next to beach Mel, there is National Park Kalifront, the biggest forest of oak Crnika in Mediterranean. In the wood, there are few very nice biking and walking track.
If you are interested in cultur & history, in Kampor you can find Monastery of St. Eufemia from XIII century, as well as remains of ancient roman fortress on peninsula Kastelina.
Shortly, Kampor is place for family holiday, quiet and relaxed, known by its clean seawater, numerous and various beaches, and very rich Mediterranean vegetation. Also, Kampor has to offer everything else tourist need to spend comfortable and active holiday.
City of Rab is 6 km away from Kampor, some 10 minutes of easy drive. Island Rab has one of most beautiful old cities in Adriatic sea. City has completely kept its original architecture – narrow streets, stone palaces and houses, palm trees, old city walls. City is famous due to 4 bell-towers, dominating the city panorama. Bell towers are witnessing power and importance Rab has had in this part of Adriatic sea, lasting from roman times.
